In 1992 the band recorded their only album at Momentum Sound studios in Parson's Green, West London. It was engineered by Gerard Johnson, who produces and plays keyboard for Saint Etienne.
"I still tell anybody who'll listen that Justin was the most talented person I've ever worked with. I've yet to make a record which I'm more proud of than Frealism." Gerard Johnson
Despite critical acclaim, Frealism failed to enter the album charts.
"I worked at Polydor when this record came out and thought it had Massive Hit written all over it." Martin Birlison
The bonus track at the end of Frealism (reprise) is the Fat Planet remix of Something New/Cosmic Love Vibes.
